From bite to soul: the real journey of food (that no one has explained to you)
We are often careful about what we ingest, but much less about how we do it.
We look at the food on the plate, but we forget that every day we also ingest words, emotions, visual stimuli, sensations.
Today I take you on the invisible — but very powerful — journey of food and emotions: a journey from the bite to the soul, to discover how much you are really feeding on life— or whether, instead, it is life that is “eating” you.
If you are new here…
Welcome!
I’m Alexandra, a mentor in personal growth for over 10 years, an expert in psychosomatics and deeply connected to body language.
With my method Teasomatica – Divine in body, true in soul, I accompany you to end the war with your body and your self-image.
Regain shape, weight, well-being and presence in full consistency with your soul.
Because the body should not be corrected.
It should be reconciled with the soul.
The journey of nourishment: 8 steps from body to soul
1. The view – The first contact
Everything starts with what you look at.
Every stimulus enters your energy field already when it catches your gaze.
Ask yourself:
- What do I pay attention to every day?
- Am I consciously choosing what I allow into my field of vision?
2. The sense of smell – Subtle perception
Your sense of smell is your instinct: it knows if something “smells” even when it seems perfect.
It represents your first emotional impression.
- Do I trust my intuition?
- What feelings do I have “on my skin” before I welcome a thought or emotion?
3. Contact-Touching
It is the initial interaction with what you feel or think.
Here you touch an idea, a memory, a tension.
- How do I treat what I hear?
- What qualities does my first contact with emotions have?
4. Intake – Bring to the mouth
Embrace something inside you: a thought, a word, an event.
It often happens automatically. But you can choose to stop.
- Am I saying “yes” to something that does not nourish me?
- Did I let something in just out of habit?
5. Chewing – The initial processing
You break up the experience, make it digestible.
This is the time for emotional awareness.
- Do I allow myself time to stay with what I feel?
- Can I break down what I experience to better understand it?
6. Digestion – Integration
Here you turn experience into understanding.
This is the stage ofinner learning.
- Am I processing what I have experienced?
- Or am I just suffering?
7. Assimilation-The transformation into vital energy
Digested experience becomes personal strength, presence, emotional intelligence.
- What did I really learn?
- In what ways do I feel more authentic, more stable?
8. The elimination – The release
Not everything that goes in has to stay.
Need to release what is not needed, with love.
- What am I holding back out of fear?
- What healthy channel can I use to let go?
Symptoms that tell you you ‘re not feeding your life
Have you ever tried to satiate yourself with everything, yet feel empty?
If your system doesn’t receive true nourishment, it shuts down, defends itself, blocks.
Here are the signs to recognize:
1. I feel empty even though I have everything
You have food, relationships, stimulation–but the soul is hungry.
You have everything, but you feel nothing.
2. I get tired easily for no reason
Energy is expended in holding back, in masking.
You wake up already tired.
3. Seeking quick gratification
Food, compulsive scrolls, distractions.
You bite…but you don’t digest.
You need something, but you don’t know what.
4. I feel disconnected
From the body, from emotions, from relationships.
Present in the middle, on autopilot.
5. I feel weight in the body
In belly, chest, throat.
Blockages, tensions, restraints.
6. I have repetitive thoughts
The mind loops, not digesting.
“I think about it all the time, but I never understand.”
7. I get easily irritated or shut down
You either explode … or you shut down.
There is no free energy inside.
8. I lose sense and desire
Life becomes flat, automatic.
You know what you should do, but you don’t feel like it.
Now that you know all this.
Now that you are clear about the nurturing journey
and know the signs that you are not really nurturing,
the question is:
What will be your next step?
Listen to yourself.
And if you like, share it with me in the comments.
